What is Hoke Area Transit Service?
Hoke Area Transit Service (H.A.T.S.) is a county-operated public transportation system designed and operated to provide door to door transportation to that portion of the population for which transportation or mobility is a problem. Our fleet is comprised of many vehicles, from standard minivans to 28' buses and most are equipped with wheelchair lifts. We regularly transport passengers to and from doctor's offices, dialysis, pharmacies, work, school, senior citizen nutrition sites, day cares, grocery stores, department stores and much more by appointment only. Any resident of Hoke County is welcome to ride! All passengers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to provide safe and dependable transportation to the Hoke County Community.
Hoke Area Transit Service is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participating in the benefits of the transit services we offer. Hoke Area Transit Service does not discriminate on basis of race, sex, age, national origin, religion or disability in its employment opportunities, programs, services, or activities.
