Property Listing
There are approximately 25,000 parcels of land, 700 businesses, and 40,000 motor vehicles in Hoke County. Hoke County has a permanent listing system for real property. Personal property (ex: mobile home, boats, airplanes, non-licensed vehicles, multi-year tagged trailers, and business equipment) must be listed in January each year. Failure to list during the month of January will result in a 10% late listing penalty. Businesses may request an extension of time for listing. The request must be in writing and show a good cause. Requests must be received by January 31.

Annual Tax Bills
Annual tax bills are normally mailed to property owners in July of each year. If you do not receive your tax statement by August 1, please contact our office. If you receive a tax bill and your account should be paid by a mortgage company, then the bill is for your information only. Bills mailed in July, are for real estate, business and personal property.
