Staff Training

Director Sad'a Ray gets staff trained in Youth Mental Health First Aid. The training will equip the staff with basic knowledge and skills to respond in a mental health emergency with youth and young adults and to offer support if emotional distress in apparent. Director Sad'a Ray of Parks and Recreation gets staff active in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, First Aid, and AED with the support of Ulva Little-Bennett from the Health Department. If you would like to schedule your department, or get trained yourself please call 910-875-3717 Ext 2104. 

Director Sad'a Ray gets all staff of Parks and Recreation certified as attendees for Stewards of Children Training offered by Darkness to Light. The training entailed expert advice and practical guidance for preventing child sexual abuse. Parks and Recreation are now the first government agency in Hoke County to receive the Partner and Prevention Seal.
