The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announced on March 23, 2025, Deputies responded to the 100 block of Abelia Dr. in reference to a shots fired call. Hoke County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded and were unable to locate a victim. Hoke County Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene. The case is currently under investigation.
