The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announces on June 6, 2025, the Narcotic/Vice Suppression Unit (N.V.S.U.) and Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team served a narcotic search warrant in the 200 block of Redemption Drive Lumber Bridge, NC 28576.
After receiving anonymous complaints, detectives with the NVSU conducted a narcotic investigation of suspected cocaine and marijuana being sold by a subject later identified as Linnie Allen Jones. During the investigation, a search warrant was obtained and served for Mr. Jones’ residence. When serving the search warrant Mr. Jones was taken into custody without incident. While searching the residence detectives located approximately 61 grams of amphetamines, approximately half a pound of marijuana, THC vapes, THC resin, suspected cocaine, suspected fentanyl, two handguns, a shotgun, M4 style rifle, and assorted items of drug paraphernalia.
Mr. Jones was arrested and taken to the Hoke County Jail where he was charged with trafficking amphetamines, possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule-II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule-VI controlled substance, possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, simple possession of a schedule I-controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling for the sell/delivery of controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Jones was held on a $30,000.00 secured bond.
