The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announced that on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at approximately 12:42 am, Hoke County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 400-block of Hogart St, Raeford, North Carolina about a disturbance. HCSO Deputies arrived on the scene and located the victim with a severe laceration to his face. It was determined that the suspect, Mr. Richard Allen II, cut the victim during a verbal altercation. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Mr. Richard Allen II was charged with Felony Assault with Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury and Misdemeanor Communicating Threats. Mr. Richard Allen II received a secure bond of $50,000 and is currently being held at Hoke County Jail.
