The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announced on, Saturday, April 20th, 2024, members of the Violent Crimes Task Force and Deputies responded to the 1500 block of Clan Campbell Dr for a victim being shot at from a moving vehicle. During the investigation, it was determined that the suspect vehicle had come from 1311 Clan Campbell Drive and Harry Gadson was identified as the suspect.
On Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024, The Violent Crimes Task Force, assisted by Special Operations, the Hoke County SERT Team, ATF and Hoke County DSS served a Search Warrant at the address of 1311 Clan Campbell Drive. At the time the search warrant was conducted Harry Gadson, and Shakiyla Taylor were present. During the Search Warrant Law Enforcement on scene located approximately 15 pounds of marijuana, MDMA, Crack Cocaine, and Psilocybin mushrooms, drug paraphernalia, and US Currency. Also located in the residence and vehicles were 7 firearms, 3 of which were stolen from other jurisdictions.
Harry Gadson was taken into custody on the outstanding warrant, for Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill, Possession of a Firearm by felon x 7, Possession of a Stolen Firearm x3, Trafficking Marijuana, PWISD MDMA, PWISMD of Schedule I, PWISMD Cocaine and Child Abuse. Harry Gadson is being detained at the Hoke County Jail and placed on a $175,000.00 secured bond.
Shakiyla Taylor was taken into custody and charged with Trafficking Marijuana and 2 counts of Child Abuse. Shakiyla Taylor was placed on a $2500.00 secured bond.
