The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service about a sexual assault against a juvenile, on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. In the investigation, there was evidence found that led to David Lee Presley being charged and arrested for Disseminating Obscene Material to a Minor under 13 and two counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child; both charges are felony charges. Presley turned himself into the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office on February 14, 2024. Presley was brought before a magistrate and received a $30,000 unsecured bond.
