The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announced that on Monday, November 10, 2024, at approximately 9:23 p.m., Deputies responded to a carjacking in the 180 block of Independence Drive. The victim was not harmed during the incident. The victim stated he was dropping off a delivery when three subjects approached him and asked for the victim’s car keys at gunpoint. The suspect drove off in the victim’s vehicle. Detectives arrived and met with the victim. Investigation is currently on-going.
