The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announced on Sunday, November 10th, 2024, Deputies responded to the 1000 block of John Russell Rd for a Domestic Assault in progress. Upon Deputies arrival they spoke with the victim. She informed deputies that the suspect pushed her to the ground and removed her purse from her. The victim reported her firearm was taken from her purse. Deputies notified Detectives. Detectives responded to the scene. The investigation is currently on going.
