The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announces on March 4, 2025 the Narcotic/Vice Suppression Unit (N.V.S.U.), conducted a traffic stop on June Johnson Road for a vehicle registration violation. Detectives with the NVSU identified the driver as Hundo Lane Blue. While speaking with the driver, detectives could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Mr. Blue was asked to step out of the car so that a probable cause search could be conducted. While searching Mr. Blue, detectives located a loaded, .38 caliber Smith and Wesson Revolver in an inner pocket of his coat. Mr. Blue was handcuffed and a search of the car was done. After the search detectives located marijuana, suspected methamphetamine, scales, baggies, and .38 caliber ammunition. Mr. Bullard was arrested and taken to the Hoke County Jail where he was charged with possession of firearm by convicted felon, possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, simple possession of a schedule II-controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Blue was held on a $40,000.00 secured bond.
